The BALOU STAR-son ICATCHER amazed in the 6-year-old jumper category at the Selle Francais Breeding Week in Fontainebleau under his rider Duarte ROMAO. The SF-licensed stallion took 3rd place in the French Breeding Championships with four clear rounds, and he was awarded the desired ELITE titel, especially for breeding. This was ICATCHER’s third consecutive final qualification in Fontainebleau.
In special recognition of this achievement, ICATCHER and his rider were nominated by the Selle Français association for the *WBFSH Studbook Jumping Global Champions Trophy’ from 26 – 29 September 2024 in Valkenswaard. ICATCHER’s 7-year-old half-brother and cousin, the OS-licensed stallion BUGATTI DE BALOU STAR, who was nominated by the Oldenburg Jumper Breeding Association due to his outstanding sporting achievements, will also take part there. Both stallions derive from the same dam line of LAEME DE DRULHE (AA), breeder Fabienne Seyrolle. ICATCHER already has several offspring in Germany and France. He sires very noble and tall with ground covering movement.
ICATCHER will also be competing in the CYLCLE CLASSICS next year under his rider Duarte ROMAO. He will therefore only be available for breeding via frozen semen, which will be provided by the agencies EQUITECHNIC, HARAS-NUMENOR and HARAS DE LA BOULOYE.
